verbal deluge #2 - summaries/titles
have come to realise that each of my entry title is pretty much a summary (and more often), a phrase from/of my following entry..
it's not like other blogs where people can actually think of fun/cool/ interesting/weird titles which, at first glance may sound like gibberish but which, makes sense after reading the entry..
ah well...

verbal deluge #1 - white noise
finally managed to pin down, definitively, what white noise is about: life - and since life is about truth, it's also about truth.
that said, i also have this theory that : Murry is God (figuratively in the bk, of course)
fascinating, this book.

i had a thought today and of all things that triggered it , it happened while i was telling my dad the final results of The Amazing Race and i was commenting on how impressed i was by Ian&Terri..
i was talking a bit abt the vietnam war (since Ian is a vet of it) and was wondering how hard it was for him being back there..
then it struck me. for all the pple that die in war, there are that many less of that particular generation, (and then the secondary thought) which means those who are left could be considered 'rare' (to stretch the term a little) because they are only the so-many-thousands out of the so-many-thousands who survived.
to put it into perspective. imagine.. take all the 21yr olds here, and let's say some disaster strikes and 1/3 are shuffled along.. that means of the 1whole that once existed, only 2/3 now do.. in other words, of a once-full population of 21yr olds, 1/3 have been irrecoverably lost. and i think the key word here is irrecoverably
staggering..isn't it?
