i've decided not to cut my hair.. all for the frivolous reason of loving how it feels when the wind blows through my hair..

i'm avoiding all sorts of news - radio, newspapers, online newspapers.

there never seems to be any good news out there anymore..

ignorance is bliss.. for now.

any sort of death is sorrowful, but death of innocents, death of those who almost made it is worse, far worse..

ok I just watched 'serendipity', and it reinforced two things I already knew..

1. new york is an awesomely beautiful place...

2. i'm a sucker for love-at-first-sight, meant-for-each-other romance...

yet after the show, two other girls who watched it as well said they didn't like it... because...

in the show, john cusack's engaged to be married, and calls off the wedding on the wedding day, on the whim that he might once again meet his 'soulmate' that he met several years ago...

the two girls said they'd hate to be that person who's victimized that way...

I thought that was weird because I only considered that for a moment and shrugged it off totally...

probably two things here too

1. there's a whole lot of funky stuff going on in the female psyche, fear of being THAT person, left alone and cheated...

2. every relationship should start with a heavy dose of wild and abandoned infatuation...

which i'm pretty glad to say was true for us =)
