deep breath i am a tolkien nut!.. is that such a surprise? probably not huh?

in case all of you haven't noticed, i er still have yet to write my wish list hmm.. i should probably yell: i'm a chronic procrastinator, at the same time huh..

but then.. if i were to write my wish list, er something like 80% will be asking for tolkine stuff. so let me say it once and for all here.. want to get me a prezzie for any occasion =] tolkien's the way to go! haha i so embarrass myself sometimes wink

everybody's getting older.. really.. i mean of course we all do. each year that passes, we grow that much older, but, when it starts becoming obvious..

there were times, not so long ago where reunion dinners were more fun, noiser, more cheerful, more raucous, just.. more energetic..

now.. as the years go by, aunts and uncles start leaving earlier and earlier, the other kids no longer sit at the table to eat - tv's more exciting, my sis and i have graduated to the adults table, new stories are told, old ones repeated..

and yet, i look forward to it every year - the familiarity of it being warm and comforting.. amongst family ^^

chinese new year.. i think it has got to be my favourite holiday =]
