it's irritating how i still have 16 days to go before watching mama mia and not just my sis, but my boss, are already talking about watching it a second time!!! ahem.. which i knew i would, even if i have yet to see it for the first time..

i'm a little pissed right now. there was someone who deserved to be out tonight, but wasn't. urgh.

i need to stop buying books. even if they're only 6.40 per bk. even if they're in pristine condition and only 6.50 per bk.

reason: an increasing pile of mostly yet-to-be-read books at their likely permanent home under my desk.

that said, happy happy am i to welcome Garth Nix's Sabriel and Lirael to my collection. now, all i need is the final bk abhorsen. who ever said children's bks are childish. on the contrary, i think the most difficult to write and most brilliant stories written are children's stories.
