gauri sent me this.. the sweet thing she is..
A young executive was leaving the office at 6 pm when he found the
CEO standing in front of a shredder with a piece of paper in his hand.
"Listen," said the CEO, "this is a very sensitive and important
document and my secretary has left. Can you make this thing work?"
"Certainly, Sir" said the young executive. He turned the machine on, inserted
the paper, and pressed the start button. "Excellent, excellent!" said the CEO
as his paper disappeared inside the machine. "I just need one copy."
Moral of the story: Never, never assume that your boss knows everything.
i say... moral of the story: bosses can't do without their secretaries!
haha..and yes we've heard it all before, but dang does it make me feel good =]

ran into an old secondary school acquaintence/friend yesterday. i haven't seen her for years! and yet, it was nice how comfortable it felt to exchange the usual chitchat - "so where are you now?", "what are you doing?", "how's everything"... one more new number in my hp memory. one more new/old lunch buddy.

got my outfit settled for tm. hopefully it's not overly formal. but it's performance that counts, right? i really should be sleeping since i'm running a slight fever (what a great way to start a new job!), but if i do, i'll wake at 6am.
at least babyblackboy is so much better now. he's drinking (a lot!) and eating more on his own. what a hectic two weeks. thank god for the long weekend coming up.
