in a most interesting and amazing of coincidences, i just came across the word Schadenfreude, in one of my readings for a lit essay, that he mentioned to me roughly a month ago.

what's fascinating and amusing is this utterly ramdom collision of two very separate situations..

my lit essay having to do with the role of the servant, Mrs Grose, in Henry James' The Turn of the Screw

.. his mentioning the word having to do with what his teacher had remarked to them that day of how amazing it is how much meaning germans can pack into a single word...

something that i incidentally agree with totally =]

i tell myself i am waiting for my cd of photos from germany before i design a new layout.

truthfully, i think i'm just lazy grin.. but is laziness the reason i haven't been blogging? no. tension is. not stress, not depression, just plain good 'ol tension..

how can sch be tense? but it can be and it is. and it's my last semester for god's sake! sigh
