i've been reading a whole lot of stephen king the past few weeks. lesson: never look down on popular fiction. they are popular for a reason.

blame my sudden obsession On Writing. it's what started me off reading again and i've never been so glad to rediscover the joy of holding a book in your hand and being lost to the world..

for all his kookiness, stephen king has an extremely sharp eye for human nature -- the good, the bad, the wicked, the sweet, the innocent.. who wants to read about a perfect character anyway.
