i like looking at cards, i like their pretty covers, pretty words, and i like buying cards (birthday cards, i-miss-you cards, and the current 'craze'--wedding cards), but i'm (really) lousy at giving them.

shame on me.

i ought to better acquaint myself with envelopes, stamps, and our excellent postal service.. since New Year is long, long past, let's make this a 3rd-quarter resolution..

boss wasn't in today. she took a leetle, well-deserved holiday. so, there i was manning the fort on my own. ok, so i wasn't even near half as productive she can be, but i think i held up well enough with the few requests that came in. a pat for myself on my back.. haha

it's amazing (in a wonderful way) how cold it can get here sometimes when it rains. my fingers and nose are actually cold as i sit here typing this. what fun!
