sales are not a good thing for people trying to save money. 3 for $10 deals are even worse. as of yesterday, i'm 10 dollars poorer and 3 eau de parfum sprays richer.. wish i had pics to show off..

i used to think susilo and jia wei were an odd couple--they didn't seem compatible. like the bf said, they come from such different backgrounds. true. but as i also told him, they're both singaporeans now =] as for their recent olympic endeavours, i'm immensely, intensely proud of them. i think, like many many others, i felt true pain when they tried (so hard), but unfortunately failed to win the elusive medal.

then again, nooooooo, another one aged 23 getting hitched! 23 is not a good age to be, it seems.. sigh..

up till scotts road, i was bright and sprightly and actually entertaining thoughts of going 'shopping' after work. then the bus hit douby ghaut area and i just wilted. see, that's what travelling does to you..
