in the words of nicholas, yesterday was the result of "accumulated suay-ness". first our hdd failed, then when i tried to coax it, sayang it, cajole it to start up one LAST time to do intense emergency burning, our motherboard died, too.

BUT! thank god for laptops. at least it allows me to log on. i was starting to feel hollow and empty from internet-withdrawal symptoms, serious! not to mention edging into the abyss of : NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! my 10gig worth of anime that i'll have to redownload!!!

damn these hdds and their 3-4yrs lifespan... btw, anybody knows of any gd computer deals?

things to say, things to write, but after-work vibes aren't conducive to doing either.

i don't think i've ever eaten so many different bday cakes in my life. seriously. well, so one wasn't technicially a cake (tiramisu dessert), one was yummy warm chocolate cake, one was black-forest-blueberrish and one vanilla-chocolate (i think). four different cakes, four different instances. and this is coming from someone whose family never bothers to celebrate bdays, in edible ways, but thank god for friends!

well, not that i'm complaining, despite all the fats gained, though they are happy fats! thanks you all. really, seeing everyone was present enough. and i'll email the pics, soon. i promise!
